Important Update from President Frederick

Wednesday, March 28, 2018

Dear Howard University Community,

I pen this letter to provide some relevant updates regarding Howard’s commitment to ensuring work integrity across all University offices, specifically the Office of Financial Aid. In accordance with my commitment to continuous progress, in February 2015, I initiated a proactive review of the Howard University Office of Financial Aid to ensure the office was providing the best support to our campus community.

Dear Howard University Community,

2018 Spring Break

Friday, March 9, 2018

 Dear Howard University Community,

The University will be closed next week for Spring Break. Many of you plan to use this time to visit family and friends or to get well-deserved rest. However, more than 650 of our students will be rolling up their sleeves to help others in need by participating in the University’s Alternative Spring Break. We wish you all safe travels to your community service project sites and thank you in advance for dedicating your time.

Many of you will also take time over Spring Break to prepare for the wind down of this semester and look ahead to the next academic school year.  As you do, please don’t forget to complete the 2018-19 FAFSA to help facilitate processing of financial aid packages for next semester.
