Dear Howard University Community:

Please be advised that Howard University’s College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences will cancel the upcoming Health Disparities Conference scheduled for February 22, and February 23, 2018. Unfortunately, due to weather-related issues and the resulting damages, we are not able to move forward with the conference. We will notify the public of the new date once we have ensured a smooth transition for our students.

This cancellation is simply a temporary inconvenience. We will continue to work passionately towards our mission of building healthy communities through interprofessional and interdisciplinary collaborations with various academic and healthcare partners. Together we will move forward to reduce the impact of health disparities and implement innovative strategies along with resources to strengthen our healthcare system.

We are extremely thankful for your continued support, participation, and exceptional feedback to help us collectively reach the vision and goals of this annual event. We extend our deepest apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. Graciously, I look forward to having you all join us next year for our Health Disparities conference.
