Senegal 2015
Fatou has over a year’s experience in project management and is currently working for PYTOD, the company that created and manages, a website that promotes good governance and government accountability by giving Senegalese people a tool to keep track, and rate, the President’s actions. As the project manager, Fatou is responsible for the reporting, planning, management, coordination, and communication around the project. Fatou is an advocate of community development and besides volunteering with a few associations, is the vice-president and one of the founding members of Precious Gift, an association that promotes blood donation in Senegal (where there are only 4 blood donors per 1,000 inhabitants). Fatou holds a Master’s degree in International Law and International Organizations. Upon the completion of the Fellowship, she plans on launching a project that focuses on women’s empowerment, a topic that is very dear to her heart.
