Harrietta Redd has over four years of experience working in the educational sector of Liberia and has served in several capacities. Harrietta presently works as the executive assistant to the superintendent of the Monrovia Consolidated School System (MCSS), the arm of the Ministry of Education that operates all public schools in Monrovia. She provides administrative and managerial support to ensure delivery of service to public schools. Within her community, she serves as a counselor and activist. She educates the youth on drug abuse and its effects on individuals and society. She also works with women and girls, advocating against domestic violence and abuse while promoting self-empowerment and girls’ education. Harrietta is a candidate for an MBA in Management at Cuttington University Graduate School. After completing the Fellowship, she plans to work with organizations that seek to address issues of empowerment, livelihood, and the protection of women and girls’ rights.
