Khotso Masheane is the president of Lesotho Youth Coalition, and a founder of Opportunities for Basotho, an online opportunity hub. He is a youth development advocate and practitioner with 13 years’ experience. Khotso is passionate about youth development, politics, and sustainable development. He is an active member of All Basotho Convention political party. He is currently studying to qualify as a chartered accountant at Lesotho Institute of Accountants. He has served in national and international platforms representing young people including UNESCO, United Nations, African Union, Commonwealth, and SADC. On returning home from the Fellowship, he hopes to convene the first national forum on youth policies, which will bring together all stakeholders to deliberate on the state of Basotho youth, and forge a unified national youth development strategy. He also aspires to open a multipurpose youth center for youth to tackle their pressing challenges, train them, and support their work.
