Increase in College of Engineering & Architecture’s Women Faculty Aligns with National Push for Diversity in STEM
Washington, D.C. (August 13, 2018) – The faculty of Howard University’s College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) is more gender-diverse than ever. According to data taken annually by the college, the percentage of women assistant professors has grown from 9 percent to 39 percent, while the overall percentage of women professors has increased from 13 percent to 26 percent, since 2015.

Washington, D.C. (August 11, 2018) – Howard University’s class of 2022 has arrived. The nearly 1,600 incoming freshmen and their families were greeted with smiling faces and helping hands Saturday, during Move-In Day, as hundreds of students and faculty assisted them with moving their belongings into residence halls across campus.
