HEERF Fund Grant Access

The Office of the Bursar has been receiving questions about how the HEERF grant refund appears on your bill. We hope that this explanation will assist in saving you time by avoiding a call or visit to the Office of the Bursar and the Office of Financial Aid.

HEERF Funding Disbursement

As a follow-up to the communication sent by President Frederick on Oct. 20, we are writing to confirm that eligible students have been awarded a grant under the Federal Higher Education Relief Fund (HEERF). The grant will be posted to student accounts and will not be applied against any balance due.

For context, this is the third round of student funding distributed by the University in support of student financial relief from pandemic-related hardships. More than $38 million in need-based financial support has been distributed to students since March 2020.
