Oluwatobi Victor Popoola
Victor Oluwatobi Popoola is an antiretroviral-therapy clinician with over three years’ experience in implementing a holistic care and treatment program for people living with HIV/Aids. He is currently the clinical coordinator for Aids Healthcare Foundation in Kogi state, where he oversees state-level implementation of antiretroviral therapy and prevention services while ensuring quality assurance, expansion, and overall improvement of the program in line with the organization’s goals and objectives. He is also a strong advocate for child rights and has championed several community sensitizations to improve the overall outcome of the average Nigerian child. Oluwatobi has an MBBS degree from the University of Ilorin, where he was trained to cater for the general health needs of the populace. After completing the Fellowship, he hopes to continue his work in ensuring universal access to HIV treatment and improved child welfare through innovative ideas, efficient use of technology, and advocacy to relevant stakeholders.
